Iv’e just returned from a great trip to Croatia on one of my annual travel shoots for Canvas Holidays. This time I flew into Pula Airport and headed off to Camping Lanterna in Porec for a week. The brief was to photograph the site along with two others in the region, families enjoying their holiday and various locations such as beaches and towns in the area.

I have to say that Croatia is stunning. It’s still unspoilt by tourism, the towns I visited, Pula, Fazana, Novigrad and Rovinj were all very picturesque and people could just lose themselves around the winding lanes containing gift shops, cafe’s and ice cream parlours.

In total I walked 59 miles in 6 days, took around 5000 shots in temperatures hitting around 30c every day and had very little sleep in between. A very worthwhile trip though and Canvas have a replenished stock of images for their website, PR and marketing for the coming year.
