Really enjoyed a Saturday afternoon’s photo shoot at the Leonard Cheshire Home in Chipstead today. This year the charity is celebrating his 100th birthday with a series of events around the country. I have been fortunate in being asked to cover quite a few of these throughout the year.
Today was a 1940’s themed afternoon at Chipstead with entertainment by the Medway Lindy Hoppers, a selection of stalls offering food, games of the period and afternoon tea inside. People danced, ate and chatted happily on a glorious sunny September afternoon.
To add a little extra to the day there was a visit from the Secretary for Defence, Sir Micheal Fallon and his lovely wife Wendy, who spent their time wandering around and chatting to various people.
