I have been working for Leonard Cheshire on a series of photoshoots for their Rewind Project which gives people the chance to learn more about their history and disability in years gone by, through films, photographs and journals.
There have been several workshops and final presentations at various locations throughout the South East of which I have attended and photographed. Its given a real insight as to the charities history and how people have looked at disability through the years.
For me its been great listening to residents and staff alike, recalling memories of years gone by. Just being there to capture their expressions and those little moments has been a privilege and the knowledge that my photos will be included in the archive is something special too.
