A Week In Nashville, Tennessee

One of the many advantages about my job is that I get to see a variety of businesses, meet a diverse selection of people and travel to some great locations.

Having covered many countries throughout Europe on photography assignments over the years it was great to be contacted and offered somewhere a little different!

A long term friend who owns his own Global creative engagement agency TEN6 Creative called me to see if I’d like to join his team in Nashville, Tennessee for a week to photograph a large conference. Without hesitation I said yes!

The conference was for Genesys – a company that powers more than 25 billion of the world’s best customer experiences each year and is a leader in both cloud and on-premise customer engagement solutions.

As you can imagine a business of this magnitude was going to need a substantial place to host the event. The Gaylord Opryland Convention Centre one of the world’s top 30 largest hotels fitted the bill well.

Across the course of the week, I averaged over 5 miles a day, walking from one area of the centre to another carrying all my camera gear. In the process I amassed a huge amount of shots and lost a few pounds of weight too!

Below are just a token few images from the actual conference and of course I did get time to have a day in Nashville along with the after show party for over 2500 people in a Nashville bar!
